Pay It Forward
At PDSpark, we want ALL people with Parkinson’s to have access to the personalized support they need to live a vibrant and healthy life—regardless of their financial means. First and foremost, we are a community of people who support one another. With these values in mind, and with the support of her family, Kelly has decided to offer all services on the “Pay It Forward” model.

FAQs

There is no charge for any PDSpark service! Instead, after receiving a service, participants are given the opportunity to pay it forward to help another person with Parkinson’s receive the same service by donating at whatever level they can. At the end of each year, we also run an online giving campaign asking participants to share with their friends and family the opportunity to support our PDSpark services and community.
-
Any amount you can! For each service, we provide a cost of offering that service as a suggested donation. If you cannot afford to donate the total suggested cost— no problem, please just give what you can.
-
The cost reflects Kelly’s business expenses such as software costs, business fees, website maintenance, liability insurance, professional and educational expenses as well as paying Kelly a wage that reflects the 50thpercentile of what physical therapists make in Oregon.

As PDSpark is not a non-profit, donations are not tax-deductible. After serious consideration, and running a non-profit for 7 years, Kelly decided that the best structure for PDSpark was as a limited liability company (LLC) instead of a non-profit. Please know that all donations are exceptionally appreciated and directly go to supporting the continuation of the services that Kelly provides through PDSpark.
